My mother is such an oustanding person in what she does for me. She has raised me as a single mother since I was 2 years of age. She loves me unconditionly and always helps me understand the best of any bad situation. She empowers me to believe in myself and set values that I believe in and will not let others compromise. My mother works with clients with severe brain injuries, some coming back from Iraq and others having injuries from car accidents, falls, and so on. She is challenged each and every day in helping her patients but has such a positive attitude and big heart. Mom displays the utmost compassion for her patients. She makes a difference in the lives of those who really need it and can no longer make decisions for themselves. If I could be anyone in the world right now, I would want to be my mom. She shows me there are good people in the world willing to go the extra mile to make others have a better life. She sacrifices so much to give me what I have in life. God truly gave an angel when he created my mom not only for me but for all her patients since she is truly "an angel of mercy" - a nurse. I wish more people could be like my mom. If so, our world would be a much better place to live.
